The Isaac Poad companies have been at the forefront of British Agriculture since 1863 and have supported farmers throughout this time. This is why we only ever use British malt and English hops. The barley we use is grown on farms that have been doing so for generations, and is malted locally by a maltings we have supplied consistently since 1863.

This porter takes its name from when we would barge Peruvian Guano up the river Ouse to our warehouse in Piccadilly. Incorporating a mix of maris otter, munich, crystal & chocolate malts to give a roast coffee flavour with a subtle hint of chocolate on the nose. A dark brown bitter beer with big hop notes.

Tasty full bodied porter which matched perfectly with my barbequed steak. I will certainly be recommending this to friends and family.

My first pint of Poad whAt a good choice. Full bodied but not heavy, the coffee and chocolate notes shine through. Excellent.
