Where it all started. A traditional bitter that combines the finest maris otter malt with traditional English hops. Well balanced, bronze in colour, smooth and easy drinking, our signature session beer clearly defines who we are. This is one of only a handful of beers to be awarded two stars by the Guild of Fine Food who described it thus, “There are lovely peppery notes on the palate which work well with the creamy mouthfeel and rich, toasty, lightly sweet flavour. The bitter notes are well matched to the over all character and we felt this was a well made, unique and intriguing drink.”
