The Isaac Poad companies have been at the forefront of British Agriculture since 1863 and have supported farmers throughout this time. This is why we only ever use British malt and English hops. The barley we use is grown on farms that have been doing so for generations, and is malted locally by a maltings we have supplied consistently since 1863.
Where it all started. A traditional bitter that combines the finest maris otter malt with traditional English hops. Well balanced, bronze in colour, smooth and easy drinking, our signature session beer clearly defines who we are. 3.8% ABV available in cask & bottle.
Our take on an Irish red ale with the core ingredients being the four main grains traded by our merchanting business, barley, wheat oats & rye. Biscuit flavours with hints of caramel & burnt toffee, whilst the rye malt adds another dimension to this quality beer. 4.2% ABV available in cask & bottle.
A traditional English IPA, pale but powerful with a huge hop aroma overlaying our favourite maris otter malt and a small hint of caramalt. Bold flavours combine well from the Yorkshire grown barley & Worcestershire hops. 4.5% ABV available in cask & bottle.
